Classic story. You get married. You buy your first home. You're super jazzed because now you're a real adult and have a proper Guest Bedroom....and then BOOM! - Baby comes along! (ok, now you're really an adult). Our clients in Texas experienced this recently, and it was such a pleasure to work with them to seamlessly transition from Guest Bedroom to baby Oliver's Nursery.
Luckily for us, the walls were already a lovely shade of celadon that allowed us to build our color palette from. Adding in shots of turquoise, gold and cream keeps the room fun and youthful (without being super gender-specific). Blackout curtains (super helpful for nap time), a glider with movable pouf, and plenty of book storage make for a cozy and usable space.
Of course, we would be remiss if we didn't discuss that fun gallery wall over the changing table. We love utilizing a large dresser that gives our clients plenty of storage, as well as surface area for a changing pad, and other supplies. We spruced up the wall above the dresser with a round framed mirror, and other personal artwork and photos to tell a story about this lovely little family.
